Last nite in New York, Springleap - along with 11 other startups, pitched at Techstars PitchNite held in collaboration with AlleyNYC with Springleap emerging as the victor.
The room was packed at with a combination of startups, market professionals and a few investors. Each startup was given 7 minutes to run through their presentation. They told the story of their passion and focused on the 3 key “T”s: Team, Technology and Traction.
After each pitch, the startup faced a panel of 4 esteemed experts: The lead editor of Entrepreneur Magazine, the managing directors of TechStars and AlleyNYC and a well known VC.
The panelists probed into their presentations covering great questions every entrepreneur should get to grips with. Here are some of them:
- What is your addressable market size?
- Why are you doing this?
- What’s your core product?
- Who is your team?
- What is your revenue, cost of customer acquisition, margins, lifetime customer value?
Some of the startups were exceptional, providing most of the answers to the above questions in their presentation.
Our CEO and founder, Eran Eyal, presented to the crowd alongside great startups and faced some great questions. These ranged from revenue, margin, scale or differentiation to expert panels like GLG.
At the end of the evening, the panelists selected the best startup - and Springleap was chosen as the best startup at PitchNite.
