CHUCKY made us all proud at Springleap.com when he walked away with the top spot in the Township Bling theme competition. We will undoubtedly be seeing more from this talented young man.

1. So tell me about where you grew up, have you lived there all your life or have you bounced around a lot?

I’ve been in Joburg my whole life, but Ive stayed with my dad in Randburg, stayed with a friend in walkerville which was about 40km out, now I’m currently with my mom.

2. When you were a child what did you want to grow up to be and what would you say is your dream job now?

I always wanted to be an architect, right up to matric. I liked the idea of designing the house you get to live in. I then decided during my gap year that it would be a better idea to try graphic design instead. My dream job is to be a film director who also has the ability to experiment with films. ( Like Tarantino)

3. Have you got a big family, how many?

I got a small family it’s just me, my younger sister & parents.

4. What is without doubt the best experience of your life?

When I was on holiday at Kei Mouth in December Holidays 4 years ago with a pal. It was a continuous adventure of not only drinking but meeting people from all over and just chilling

5. If you could have any super power what would it be?

Probably invisibility or being the Hulk could be fun.

6. If you could hang out with any star for a day who would it be?

Probably Johnny Depp, ok as much as he is a chick favourite, his one of the few actors that can play any extreme role. He is extremely laid back and looks as if he has interesting ideas on life! And Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

7. What makes the world go round?

Certainly not money, Uhh I think Bob Marley was kind of on the right track!

8. What makes you a better person than the average man on the street?

That kind of a hard one, I’d say honesty.

9. What music are you listening to at the moment?

Jeez, quite a bit at the moment, my music taste can vary a lot but its mainly alternative. I’ve into Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, King Crimson, a lot of Placebo recently, oh and the Killers because they’re coming here soon.

10. Do you think there is an afterlife, what kind do you expect to find?

Ok that’s a difficult one. But I am Christian and believe in the whole” don’t have to go to church thing” but do believe in something greater.
