Crowdsourcing Designer Interview #4
Our Crowdsourcing Designer Report features interviews with designers and illustrators from around the world. We shoot them some questions on their experience of the crowdsource platform, and ask them about themselves. In today’s interview, we feature Tangguh Karya! Who are you? My name is Tangguh Karya. Where do you live? I live in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
I was the last of five brothers who all love art. I loved art since I was a kid. I liked the quiet atmosphere and don’t like to be in the crowd. What inspires you? The first person to be my inspiration in art was my uncle. Although he never taught the art directly to me, but I always admired him. He is a great artist for me.
In creating artwork, I use paper, pencil, Photoshop and Wacom. Describe your design style? By the way a question of design style, I think I have no particular style, I prefer to experiment in different styles, rather than focus on one style only.
I studied at Academy of Art and Design AKSERI in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
I really like the artwork of David Smith. Really inspiring me.
