Business Unit Manager / Sales & Client Manager
This position requires a highly motivated individual who will proactively drive the company’s new business agenda and be the interface between the company and clients, whilst positively developing a well-established network of potential clients, and collaborating on and rolling out strategy. Agency experience and a first-hand understanding of the online social media landscape are essential. The ideal candidate will manage the existing portfolio of clients through the Client Service and Creative Teams through strategic and tactical direction. Driving new business opportunities for the company and ensuring maximum profitability will top of the agenda for this position. Business Unit Manager Job Requirements: > 3 years of agency experience as a business unit manager or client services director - non-negotiable. > Track record in spearheading sales and business with brands > Client base is preferred > A desire to work within a startup space and pull all the stops to make a mark > Deep understanding of how agencies sell to brands and managing the process from lead generation to closing and growth > PASSION. > Ability to attract similar talent and manage them > Clear understanding of social media / digital / new media and creative. > Likes to travel > Candidate will be based in Cape Town Responsibilities: - Share the overall management process with the rest of the company. - Focus on key deliverables through the existing and potential client base to create a win-win solution that enables profitability and the growth of relationships with clients; - Drive new business acquisition through targeting key accounts in an ongoing process; - Strategically deliver new and ongoing deliverables for clients that would form part of the clients’ business plans that would be implemented tactically or as part of their activity calendar; - Understanding and managing brand values for any client, as well as the individual, especially those within the company. - Managing client expectation and having a clear understanding of deliverables with the ultimate objective of ensuring that clients are happy, loyal and profitable to the agency; - Lead team by providing goals, objectives and strategies; - Ensure optimum deployment of 360 degree communication, facilitate problem solving, manage client relationships, monitor the health of the client’s business within the agency, deliver bottom line client profitability and grow the clients” business within the agency. - Be involved in setting and sticking to KPIs, as well as driving client retention and growth as well as overall client base growth at least 15% per annum in each category. Remuneration: R30,000- R50,000 plus commission.
Graphic Designer
Personality: Team player, problem solver, perfectionist, fits in with company culture, disciplined, deadline-driven, resourceful. In touch with popular culture and has their finger on the pulse of developments in design and social media. Experience: We’re looking for a designer who is super-talented and has lots of energy! The ideal candidate will have a design qualification from a reputable design school or tertiary institution, and have experience in HTML, UI and UX. Strong branding and print skills will be a good asset, as will agency experience. PLEASE NOTE: Applications must include a link to an online portfolio on Behance, Dribbble or similar. Evidence: Digital portfolio, client testimonials, employer references, and WIP examples to prove items in portfolio are original work. Job specs: - Web design (site elements, banners, buttons etc) - Mailer design (Mailchimp) - Backgrounds, profile and timeline images for social media channels - Creation of app skins in line with client CI specs - Systematic design and rollout of CI across all channels - Design and layout of pitch, proposal and internal documentation where necessary, including application of client branding across wide range of formats and media Remuneration: R7 000 - R15 000 Like what you hear?
