Springleap’s Skillshow is in the press! This article’s taken from www.packagedesignmag.com: “Taking its design model into new territory, and rewarding designers simply on the basis of merit, Springleap.com has launched Skillshow, its design showcase. As a platform for creative ideation, Springleap is looking to provide up and coming designers with exposure to its large design community, whilst encouraging conversation around design. The first round of Skillshow opened on March 28th and is focused on packaging design, and high quality submissions are rolling in. Marking a departure from the crowdsource model, Skillshow seeks only to reward participating designers, who retain all rights to the work shown. Among the many submissions now in voting are award-winning concepts shown on prominent design sites, as well as student projects by rising stars to be watched in the near future. With $1000 offered to the top-voted submission, and no strings attached, Skillshow offers a versatile format which Springleap intends to open up to a wider range of design submissions down the line.” For more info on Skillshow, take a look here.
