Hi there everyone. It seems that there are more and more questions coming through from the community, asking us exactly what our rules are, when it comes to ‘where and how’ designs can be used on our website. In the Roll-Over competition Grafismo submitted 2 very awesome designs (Frank Einstein and Abbey Road), however the designs had been used on another website, but their license had not been renewed. We also received a question from Kharmazero, saying that he sold design “prints” of his work on various websites, such as Redbubble, Society6, Mysoti. Well, I spoke to Eran and the rest of the team and we laid out some pretty straight forward rules for this issue. Thanks to the community for their understanding in this area! ................. SUBMISSION RULES: Springleap reserve the right to any winning designs for all purposes. We are soon going to be launching prints on canvas, posters, mobile phones, laptops etc. The rules for entering the competition: You cannot enter a design that is currently in the running in another competition elsewhere, that has had a print run and been sold or has won another competition. After the winner has been announced at Springleap all the other designs are free for the designer to do with as they wish and Springleap holds no rights to print or sell those designs unless via prior arrangement or stipulation in a specific themed competition eg: if Springleap were to hold a competition for another brand, artist, company and specifically stipulate conditions clearly. |

What is this thing? This elusive concept : Entrepreneurship? It seems to mean many things to different people... but as a designer : WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU? Hi there guys and girls . *Great news and….even more GREAT news! HUGE congratulations goes out to our latest Springleap winner Hellojune with the stunning design entitled Lunar deity delivery boy . When this design appeared everyone in the office and on the fan pages went totally nuts for it. Also we have two competitions that have gone live for voting. The submissions for both are brilliant to the MAX! First up we see voting go live for November 2 , which I am positive will make you all sit up and take notice . We have more and more new faces, which is most splendid to see. All I can say is wowie, by jove, fisticuffs, ahoy baker ….errr nevermind :P As you can see, I am rather excited! Also, voting has opened for our Blue Bean sprint competition, which we have held over the past few days. You know, the community really came through on this competition. I expected there to be a few cool designs sent through from all the usual rockers and rollers , but the landslide of designs that came through was truly awe inspiring . You know what you gotta do!
