My design concept is balance. Can be seen from the design that has a line in center of the design so that it divides the design is symmetrical. The purpose of the balance contained in the design is a balance between technology and nature.
Design idea is that there is CT200h Lexus car which was passing between the sun, mountains, land, marine, mining, birds, and fish. Thus illustrates that the Lexus CT200h is a high-tech cars but environmentally friendly.
Work made with vector. Illustration style used is the geometric minimalism because I want to show the Lexus CT200h elegantly.
6 colors, with separate technique and white color using t-shirt color.

Wow this is such a stunning design! love the ‘horse power’ concept but also how you reflect the blue and red (both sides) without necessarily using both colours in the design itself. Very cool!
South African Heritage Day is just around the corner!
Get ready to come together and share this special day with your friends and family in style.
On the 24th of September South Africans from all walks of life come together to celebrate our amazing country and the people that make it the greatest country in Africa! :)
I have lined up a fewawesome Springleap.com t-shirt designs that will get you in the spirit and make you the center of attention at your Heritage Day gathering!
This is undoubtedly one of the most perfectly executed
concepts I have ever seen on Springleap.com, South African inspired or otherwise! This is so supremely striking. The colors and iconic face of Mandela instantly attract your attention…and keep it fixed.
Whenever I write about local designs I feel compelled to include this…I’m pretty sure you can see why, hehe!
Esepowenis by Wolfox is yet another design that is impossible to exclude from our list!
This slightlycontroversial piece uses parody of the mega popular Simpsons family to create a unique glimpse into South African society. Now some might see this as a negative design, but in all honesty being able to see realities of life and adapt them into a humorous design is vital in a nation like ours. If we can’t laugh at ourselves then we have a real problem on our hands!
The color and composition is superb! eSempowenis is clever and witty parody to the extreme. This one will definitely liven up your Heritage Day and get your loved ones giggling!
Untold Tales is a design that I feel should definitely include because it has so many elements that have a South African vibe, or hint at our heritage.
While master designer Qimstudio may not have had this in mind when he originally created this design, there is no doubt that it works!
The lion is such an important symbol in South African society. It symbolizes strength and power and is often known as the “Judge” in African culture because it weeds out the weak animals and maintains the age old truth of only the strongest surviving the harsh African wild. The design element of the ship at the bottom also works for South African Heritage Day. The Europeans that originally settled here arrived on massive ships , travelling thousands of miles across some of the most dangerous stretches of ocean on Earth.
Ok, so it doesn’t have South African colors , any political figures , or wild animals , but what it does have is PARTYENERGY!
This year Heritage Day falls on a Saturday , which means everybody will be together having a great time, which usually ends up with everyone (who can still stand) going out for a serious jol ….that means ‘party’ for all your international Springleapers!
I WANNAROCK is a full on party shirt. If you pull one of these bad boys on you will instantly get a +10 constitution bonus for clubbing, hehe. That means hours and hours of dancing , YAY!
Even if you aren’t a South African , it doesn’t mean you can’t get involved in the celebration. Heritage Day in South Africa is also known as National Braai Day (braai = barbecue).
So why not get some friends together, stick the BBQ on and have a fine ol time. Eat, drink responsibly and be merry!
If you would like to seriously get involved you can join us as we sing our national anthem.
I can’t wait for Heritage day!
Hehe yeah that is a good point, woopsies!
Now it is a FULL ON African dream design.
You rock dude :)
wowzers! thanks Duncan for including my design in this wonderful post! =) Just to let you know if u haven’t notice, the entire design of Untold Tales actually have the shape of the African continent. =D
The main idea behind this design was to have a realstic/photographic style being combined with a cartoony/animated style. The smoke and woman are halftone. 2 colours on army green.
Butterflies in the stomach is a phenomenon characterized by the physical sensation of a “fluttery” feeling in the stomach. This sensation can be a physical sensation related to the body’s fight or flight response or it can be an ineffable experience related to the psychology of love or nervousness and excitement.
Some believe that this is caused by the release of adrenaline when one is nervous, which pulls blood away from the stomach and sends it to the muscles. This reduced blood flow, in turn, causes the stomach to temporarily shut down, and is possibly the reason for reduced appetite during love sickness. -wikipedia.org
