Hi crazytime Jan winners should be out sometime next week and the new printers are promising us 15-20 tees a week so we recon that the September winners should be out within the next 2 weeks.

Thanks guys Keep the comments coming - so no putting the runners up in automatically it seems. Sponsored prizes sound good! I like :) We are going to be doing a major site redevelopment soon that will turf the header bar in flash to resolve all these issues plus incorporate all the awesome ideas you guys have recommended... but it's a big project!
We would like to take the top 4 runners up of each competition and *AUTOMATICALLY* allocate those designs to the next competition for only one competition. What do you think? Yes no maybe ok?
Guys - we have a simple rule regarding submissions : we approve designs where the artist has followed the rules first and the most problematic ones last. Please read the rules and the letters we send when we reject/ or send designs to "needs more work". It is very frustrating to see the same mistakes in people's submissions again and again and again and again....
For sure Loki031 - but consider it can take other sites up to a month to approve designs

Yeah- you would have to be careful with that - since they have a "RED" label - pone should think of the marketing and viability of the shirt in that consumer environment.
I totally agree - I think that bottom placements were a fad - I love the way AntiNexus handled Zombunnies though - that t-shirt rocked - not really a bottom-side placement tee, but it creeps from there to a central focus. The very nature of t-shirts is that the design always leads to a central focus somewhere on the upper torso.
Hey Integral Concealed Malice is about to be printed this week - so good news there. Ornamental and malicious bear soon thereafter. The t-shirts have been boxed and sent to the printer already. The problems that have cropped up till now have been out of our hands - literally we have been bamboozled every step of the way by fabric manufacturers and printers locally - we have just recently found a printer who seems more reliable and we are focused on getting _all_ t-shirts out by AROUND the 16th Feb so long as yet another schmuck doesn't screw us again. The real issue is that I TOTALLY understand how you feel and my stress levels are maxed out trying to get everything sorted. The basic plan is to *get everything out asap* and get as the new winners are announced to push em out immediately. The good news is that pretty much all the blanks are in stock and we are ready to rumble with printing as fast as the printer can work. He has also bought new screens specially for us to speed things up and is doing the transfers as well for the inner neck to speed things up. I know this is not much consolation, but know that we vale EVERY ONE of you out there who have been on, or contributed to springleap in ANY way. Please hang with us a bit longer. We appreciate your input, and frustrations - they are our own.
We are getting there! Right now we will be pushing current winners to the front of the cue and then printing from there immediately.
Hey Tu - the problem occurs when new fonts are used and how difficult it is to make these tees as it is. Our main focus right now is to get the tees produced within a week of them winning. Still - quite a cool idea! Will definitely discuss with the team!

Hey Guys, hope this aleviates your concerns - well spotted though - just goes to show the power of a true communinity! Got a mail from BeeryMethod tonight : "Sorry this occurred. Itself has been notified to remove the design submission from their site. I thought this had already taken place, apparently not. My apologies for the mistake, hope this won't jeopardize my submission with Springleap " So the game is on. The deer is near. Have no fear, Sacred Wild stays here.
Hey guys That's not exactly true We need to update the current terms and conditions with the new ones we released with our new competition format ie : if you do not win you get to use your design IMMEDIATELY for whatever you want ie : enter into our next available competition, edit, use at other places etc. But for sure NO SITE allows the entry of one design into two competitions simultaneously. We are already taking it up with BeeryMethod

Well - we knew that this would happen sooner or later - but darn it felt *rotten and nasty!!!* People who rip off designers and platforms that seek to eward them are just plain dirt - the lowest of the low. Not only do they not have any sort of integrity as human beings, but they don't even have an original set of bones to rub together. Such a poor and low situation!!!! I am just appalled and Eric has written a serious cease and desist letter to them. I am also going to look at following upon with some newspapers both locally and their country of residence... Perhaps even approach the embassy.... what do you guys think? Time to get out the wire cutters and the blowtorch and get Medieval on someone's ass.... Imitation may be the highest form of flattery for some, but stomping these rotters into the ground. Eish.
