Battle of the Best 2011

It is time to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war!

The hour is upon us, the clash of swords and the deafening thunder of the war-drums have begun.
The finest design warriors from across the globe shall don their armor and set-off on the most anticipated quest of the year: To claim the title of Springleap Design Champion 2011.

Only those who show supreme cunning and wield their Wacom’s with deadly purpose will have any chance of surviving the coming trials and arise victorious as our Battle of the Best Champion!
Do you have the mettle to topple the elite warriors of Springleap? Will you stand tall with the titans of illustration, or get crushed underfoot by a superior force?

Many have tried, few have succeeded.

 Your quest:

Springleap.com calls on all of it's past contest winners to summon up their design prowess and destroy their competitors by creating designs which illustrate their true skill and ultimate potential!
They will be going up against the best Springleap has to offer, so it's time for them to pull out all the stops and unleash a barrage of creative power.

THE BRIEF:

The Battle of the Best design contest is ONLY open to designers that have WON a design contest at Springleap.com in the past.

Designers can submit ANY designs they wish. This gives you the freedom to create something truly amazing. You can even resubmit a design which you feel passionate about!

 

CONTEST DO’s & DONT's:

1. The Battle of the Best is run exactly the same as our regular Open Theme contests, except that it is ONLY open to Springleapers that have WON on Springleap.com in the past.

2. Regular guidelines apply:

- NO OBSCENITY, NO HATE SPEECH, KEEP IT CLEAN.
- You can submit up to 5 designs so go wild! The more designs you submit the greater chances you have of winning!
- This competition is for winning Springleap.com designers ONLY!
- This includes designers from our very first competition in 2008, and all winners in 2011 (The winner of Open Theme December 1will be the last candidate for 2011).

Submissions for designs open: 09 December 2021
Submissions for designs close: 16 January 2021
Voting starts: 18 January 2021
Voting ends: 10 February 2021
Winner is announced: 13 February 2021

PRIZE: US$1000
 

RULES:

1. Only past Springleap design contest winners may enter this contest

2. No obscenities or hate speech.

3. Only original works will be accepted.

4. Each designer may submit up to five designs.

5. Winners will be chosen by the Springleap design panel.

6. Standard Springleap Terms & Conditions apply over and above.

7. Springleap reserve the rights to request the high-resolution artwork of any entry submitted into the “Battle of the Best 2011” design contest for non-commercial benefit such as media covering the process.

8. The contest will run from 09 December 2021 to 16 January 2012. Winners will be chosen by a panel from 05 January 2012. Final winners will be chosen and announced on 13 February 2021 via the Springleap.com website and Facebook page. The winning designs that are chosen by Springleap.com are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

9. Prizes are not transferable.
