……………………… THE LEXUS COMPETITION HAS BEEN EXTENDED!!!! The Lexus ‘CT 200h’ submission date for designs has been extended until 08 August, 2011 . This means you have extra time to come up with some really awesome submissions and WIN the massive US$1250 grand prize. ……………………… Springleap in association with Lexus is excited to announce it’s all new innovative design challenge . Lexus will enter a completely new market segment for the luxury brand in August when it launches the CT 200h . The premium hatchback is the first full hybrid vehicle to be launched in the small luxury car segment. The winning design will earn itself a massive US$1250 cash prize and huge exposure with Lexus marketing, as well as on the Lexus Facebook page. Time to get excited! Lexus is asking designers to create a CT 200h branded T-shirt that shows the two sides of the new CT 200h – the luxury heritage of Lexus, with the innovation of Hybrid , which combine to form the pay-off line for CT 200h of “Have it all” . Important design considerations are also the two moods of the car: relaxing (Eco - represented by blue) and dynamic (Sport - represented by red). Lexus branding must appear somewhere in the design in the form of the Lexus logo , the CT 200h logo , or the blue “h” . The winning design will embody the Lexus Pursuit of Perfection with creativity, flair, elegance and confidence. so this one is not based on community voting? Interesting idea. I think it would be a good idea to show some of the designs anyway - seeing what other people are up to does tend to push the standards of the work in a competition up.
